Assessments for concession applications

Service Description

Concession and accommodation assessments are generally required by schools, the IEB and universities, when applying for individuals with learning barriers to be granted the appropriate selection of the following concessions during examinations: Additional Time, Reader and Scribe, Amanuensis, Prompter, Separate Venue, Computer Aid, Practical Assistant, Spelling Exemption, Enlarged Pint, Rest Break and Special Equipment. A full psycho-educational assessment which thoroughly assesses the barrier to learning and a comprehensive clinical history, is required. Applications for Concessions and Accommodations need to be accompanied by the following documentation: Relevant Medical Report, School Report, Teacher Comments and Schoolwork Samples.
